POSITION SUMMARY

The File Clerk’s primary duties include supporting the Human Resources team by providing administrative support in all areas from filing paperwork, creating electronic employee profiles through the company’s HRIS, and completing special projects as assigned. A key component for the position will be to have an open and friendly attitude while tackling projects. This position reports directly to the Senior Human Resources Manager. This is a temporary position that is located in Woburn, MA.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Learn the Company’s HRIS system (Paylocity) and assist with filing and maintaining important files and information in our systems
  • Assist with audits of confidential company information (I9 documents, 401(k) information, etc.)
  • Sort and distribute the Company’s mail
  • Create electronic employee profiles by scanning employee files into the company’s HRIS
  • Create spreadsheets
  • Stuff envelopes and mail letters
  • Complete special projects assigned by the Senior Human Resources Manager
  • Provide feedback and solutions for continuous improvement
  • Perform other duties, as needed

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage workload imbalance
  • Ability to work independently as well as in groups
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable with modern technology
  • Must be able to type 60 wpm at a minimum
  • Strong familiarity with basic technology
  • Experience as an Administrative Assistant is helpful but not necessary
