We are searching for a dynamic Project Manager, Operations Support to join our Team in Silver Spring, MD!
What you do:
As a member of the Operations team, the Project Manager of Operations Support will play an integral role in driving organizational effectiveness and delivering key services to clients within the market. You are at the heart of the market’s operations and the soul that keeps the market team moving forward. You anticipate the needs of your managers and team members and help them stay focused on their projects by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise. You move quickly with the changing environment. In addition to being organized and analytical, you possess the strong business acumen and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions.
This position will report to the Market President and will represent PE in a positive and professional manner.
What you will be working on:
Function as project manager for various operational projects within the market.
Identify and engage in market research and other planning activities to support the operations team and growth of the market.
Provide analysis and reporting to the operations team to drive data-driven decisions and implementation of best practices.
Develop and/or document standard operating protocols to ensure the market teams have the tools they need to function effectively and consistently.
Able to adapt your approach and pivot your skillset from strategic, high-level program implementation to granular day-to-day needs of a fast-paced business.
Ensure processes and administrative infrastructure are in-place to support operational excellence and hitting goals.
Responsible for coordinating and facilitating meetings, including defining objectives, agendas, project charters, etc. and constantly looking for ways to improve the operational cadence of the group.
Proactively ensuring that all relevant teams and stakeholders are up to date and working effectively by adhering to best practices for communication and documentation.
Support initiatives by coordinating and tracking timelines, milestones, and statuses, escalating issues as needed.
Work closely with key business stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and customer-specific solutions.
Provide exceptional service to the business by offering timely solutions that ensure continuity of business operations.
Analyze metrics to identify areas of opportunity for automation and process improvement.
Monitor trends in performance data, execute root cause analyses, and recommend and implement solutions that drive improved performance for business stakeholders

Proficient in use of Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Project Management applications
Ability to manage multiple tasks and possess strong analytical skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to oversee projects from origin through execution
Strong project management and time management skills.
Willingness to travel on occasion, some overnight travel may be needed
Must be a team player with a positive “can do” attitude
Must have an open mind and willingness to think outside the box
Must have a pleasant demeanor and professional appearance
Must demonstrate clear and concise communication in both written and verbal interactions
Must demonstrate a high standard of organization
Must possess the ability to accept direction, ask questions to fully understand the project scope in order to work independently and produce an accurate result
What you know:
To be successful in this role you will have the following experience or knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is required
Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a position that required coordination across multiple stakeholders; healthcare experience is a plus.
PMP Certification is a plus.
