POSITION SUMMARY:

Cleans and maintains client site as assigned.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:


-Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.

-Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, break rooms, cafeterias, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.

-Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.

-Dusts furniture and equipment.

-Polishes metalwork.

-Washes walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.

-Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays and transports trash and waste to disposal area.

-Replenishes bathroom supplies. (and/or supplies as needed in kitchen, etc.)

-Maintains janitor closet clean, organized and stocked.

-Reports equipment malfunctions and job site hazards to the team leader/supervisor.

-This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:


Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
-Ability to read a limited number of two
- and three
-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Reasoning Ability
-Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one
- or two
-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
