We are seeking an experienced Accountant for our Seattle district office located in Bellevue, Washington.
The accountant will perform accounting, administrative and other functions as required in supporting PCL projects and our business.
Full-cycle accounting for projects assigned, including accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions and maintenance of project ledgers
Prepare, review and communicate various project reports
Assist in preparation of internal/external audits, and participate in month end/year end and forecasting processes
Monitor compliance with subcontract and purchase order terms
Obtain, review and track required subcontract and purchase order documentation, including insurance, lien releases, closeout documents, and certified payrolls
Review and understand financial statements, owner contracts and subcontracts
Prequalify subcontractors and suppliers to identify risks and assist with development of plans to mitigate those risks
Manage compliance with statutory reporting requirements
Understanding of payroll cycles and sales/use tax reporting
Identify and communicate budget variances and areas of financial risk
Ad-hoc reporting to project teams, departments, and management
Perform various district accounting duties
Review and understand the flow of transactions through general ledger accounts
