Full time position for experienced admin in a family office in a small town. You'd be responsible for all aspects of the office of this retiring real estate lawyer who has an established real estate sales brokerage business to run. In addition to keeping track of the owner!, the calendar, and where-to-be-when, your position requires keeping track of family owned properties, the leases and rentals and maintenance issues that crop up. File organization, bills management, some personnel management as it relates to property maintenance work attendant to various properties; you will schedule and coordinate work to be done by others such as contractors and in house and outside maintenance persons; you must accomplish the sensible ongoing organization of the office and have impeccable writing skills- -You are a discreet and competent self starter because you'll be the boss of yourself. Yep, there's pesky photocopying and filing. Picking up the mail and figuring out what's priority each day with a view to getting things done and moving projects ahead. A whole bunch of varied tasks. You have excellent computer skills (because I do not) and there's no in-house I.T. person. to rescue your computer blunders. PCs, Microsoft, Quickbooks, Excel, the usual office equipment. Prior experience in real estate brokerage a plus, legal secretarial experience per se is not necessary. Occasionally, there might be a cat wandering through the beautiful office setting where you will feel at home and appreciated.
