Email Marketing Leader

We are looking for a Global Email Marketing Leader that knows their stuff. You’d begin as a Email Marketing Department of One (with opportunity to hire a second-in-command), so expertise in all things in Email Marketing is key. You’d manage email marketing strategy, building campaigns, email analytics, building strategies to acquire and maintain customers, contribute to enhance brand awareness and recognition; providing email marketing support to a small-but-growing global workforce to maximize  marketing conversions. You’d contribute to our vision of developing solutions to make our world a safer place.

Some of their key responsibilities include:

• Manage email campaign execution from ideation, copy writing, edits, deployment, scheduling, segmentation, production, automation, A/B testing, and optimization.
  
• Execute a customer-first approach to all email for new customer acquisition, customer upsell/cross-sell, customer retention, and customer referral and advocacy.
  
• Work with email marketing platforms like Salesloft, Zoho, Mailchimp, and others.
  
• Ongoing program optimization, including structure and segmentation improvements, and improvement of process and infrastructure.
• Design templates and write copy for email campaigns and automation that welcome, engage, and retain potential and current customers.
• Employ a consistent best-practice approach for creating email and templates, dynamic content, testing methodologies, list segmentation, and deliverability.
• Conduct quality assurance testing prior to deployment to catch typos, incorrect links, logic errors, in email campaigns and flows.
• Contribute to monthly campaign marketing reports and drive continuous improvement across email KPIs (deliverability, open rates, click-to-open rates, conversion rates, opt-out rates, and revenue).
• Develop test methodology and apply data-driven techniques to optimize across all funnel stages. Test to include but not limited to personalization, frequency testing, messaging testing, offer testing, creative testing, segmentation/targeting and delivery timing testing.
• Willing to support the Global Marketing Team, when needed, in larger initiatives.
• Confident in growing environments and flexible to adapt quickly to changing situations.
• Ability to deliver against tight timelines and in a matrixed environment.
• Open and flexible in an international, multi-cultural environment.
• High level of integrity, dedication, and commitment to inclusion and diversity.

You could be a great match if you have:

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 7 years of applicable business experience, with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Email Marketing. Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered.
• Proven success in providing actionable insights from email analytics to evaluate and optimize email campaigns and flows.
• Experience using Salesloft, Zoho, Mailchimp or other similar technologies in email automation.
• Ability to manage and prioritize workloads cross-functionally.

• Excellent communication skills both digitally (online) and live.
• Self-motivated and can work independently with little supervision.
