Position Summary:

Conducts data analysis and performance auditing for performance-based and goal-based client investment portfolios.  Retrieves, enters, reconciles, and monitors client account data.  Audits monthly performance for private investment accounts and alternative investments.  Prepares client performance monitoring reports for client distribution as well as client specific or business analytical reports.  Maintains cost basis and security reconciliation. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

Account Administration and Maintenance

  • Updates client related information such as client profile, investment model, reporting requirements, and portfolio accounting details  
  • Establishes and maintains household grouping assignment for clients
  • Analyzes non Oxford custodial statements and inputs month end values, transactions, and fees
  • Audits portfolio value and performance metrics
  • Conducts daily reconciliation of client data

Prepares and Reviews Client Account and Performance Monitoring Reports  

  • Analyzes reports with a high level of detail to verify accuracy of client reporting data
  • Troubleshoots reporting data inaccuracies and enact solutions
  • Creates performance-based and goal-based investment metrics within reporting software and provide reporting to client facing team
  • Generates scheduled client account and performance monitoring reports
  • Works with Client focused departments to design and distribute reports for client delivery
  • Utilizes a reporting tracker that maintains client meeting dates and report delivery methods
  • Prints and binds client account and performance monitoring reports for report distribution

Analysis for Business Metrics 

  • Creates insightful reports that help monitor relative business metrics, identify key variance and exception type reporting
  • Converts business requirements from Management into data reports
  • Demonstrates analytical thinking skills by breaking down complex problems or processes, identifying cause and effect patterns, and analyzing problems to drive reporting metrics to assist in arriving at solutions

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in business related field such as accounting or finance
  • One - Three years business analytics experience (modeling, integration, reporting and analytics), preferably in Financial/Securities industry
  • Tamarac Advisor View, Addepar or other client reporting software experience
  • Working experience with Power BI, Tableau, Smartsheets, or another analytical tool preferred
  • Performance-based and Goal-based investment reporting experience preferred
  • Strong critical thinking/analytical skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word
  • Must have a professional demeanor with the utmost respect for confidential matters
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
  • Must have ability to multi task
  • Must have strong work ethic with a positive attitude
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
