Job Description

We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team! You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue.

The duties and responsibilities listed are those commonly performed.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES (Essential Functions): ​​​​​

·         Proactively establish and maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.

·         Maintain solid product knowledge, and consistent follow up.

·         Develop strong rapport with customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

·         Determine customer’s requirements and prioritize orders.

·         Source components from the internal warehouse, manufacturers or other third-party sources as necessary.

·         Negotiate price and delivery, calculate margins and quote the client accordingly.

·         Ensure all AOG orders are processed on time and according to customer requirements.

·         Send diary of customer shipment reports to the customer as required.

·         Report AOG orders same day as shipping.

·         Grow the customer base through effective customer contact.

·         Keep accurate records of all communications in the system.

·         Make sure IMAGING procedure is followed as instructed. Keep accurate records of all documents required for Export Compliance and ASA regulations.

·         Follow up on customer quotes.

·         Solve and close discrepancies in the system.

·         Contact vendors to determine parts pricing and availability.

·         Use the ILS, Parts Base, and other tools to research and locate parts.

·         Track parts using an invoice or airway bill number.

·         Enter and create data in the Pentagon system, including quotes, RFGS, import/export documents.

·         Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Ø  5 years minimum of experience in customer service background with strong customer orientation

    Ø  2+ years of experience in the aviation industry required

    Ø  Proficiency in computer keyboarding skills and in database management and word processing

    Ø  Must have excellent leadership skills

    Ø  Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented

    Ø  Strong time management, negotiation and multi-tasking skills

    Ø  Bilingual English/Spanish a must
