Job Description

Overpass is on a mission to remove obstacles to working remotely. We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our company and lead a team of account executives out of our Brooklyn office.

Our culture is collaborative, forward thinking and growth oriented. The market pain point we are determined to solve is the obstacles that come along with building and deploying a sales team. We will stop at nothing to solve it, and are looking for a sales manager with the same mind set.

You are driven, curious, intelligent and deeply passionate about your craft. You will build and run a diverse team of talented individuals looking for mentorship and help growing their sales careers. In addition, you will drive sales, remove barriers to Customer adoption and collaborate with the broader Leadership Team. This is a demanding role that requires strong leadership, priority management and interpersonal skills.

Our ideal candidate is a team-player who has a proven track record of excelling in SaaS sales and takes initiative above and beyond the call of duty.

Responsibilities:

  • Coach and lead a team of Account Executives that have fun winning together

  • Own ongoing growth and development including hiring, training and mentoring reps

  • Run daily sales meetings

  • Review calls and emails daily and provide feedback in morning meetings

  • Ensure account executives are following up opportunities and keeping clients on-board and sales processes are being adhered to.

  • Conduct weekly forecast meetings and coach Account Executives on strategies to reach their goals

  • Achieve key performance metrics and goals

  • Report on sales activity and manage a regular revenue forecast

  • Work with your team to discuss, plan and implement process improvements

  • Partner with Marketing, Product, & Customer Success and other cross-functional teams to drive success and prioritize where Overpass invests its resources.

  • Identify product and technology gaps with Customers and present a point of view to the Product and Leadership Teams.
