Overpass is looking for an innovative, analytical and customer-focused product analyst to partner closely with product development, design, and engineering teams to generate actionable insights that will improve and enhance our customer experience.
The Product Analyst will be responsible for conducting research and collecting data from consumers to derive product insights and recommendations. This role will work cross-functionally with our development, design and engineering teams to improve our product and enhance customer experience with the intent to drive revenue. The product analyst will conduct quantitative and qualitative data research to discover insights which will contribute to product enhancements.
A successful candidate should be an analytical thinker, an effective communicator and a collaborative team member with a proven track record of enhancing customer experience for web-based products. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of the SaaS industry, knowledge of the competitive landscape, and insight into customer behavior with an ability to make data-informed decisions.
2+ years of experience as a product analyst working directly with product managers or a product team
Logical, analytical thinker with strong business acumen
Self-sufficient – willingness and ability to work proactively and independently
Ability to identify and clarify problems
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management to influence and drive results
Strong attention to organization and detail
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Demonstrated desire and ability to learn
Experience in collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative research
Experience with Atlassian suite of tools
Perform quantitative and qualitative research and interviews to uncover product opportunities
Collect customer feedback and analyze key trends in the SaaS industry
Monitor KPIs and progress of enhancements
Conduct research to identify opportunities
Document team processes, priorities, and learnings
Summarize your findings and communicate these to internal stakeholders and product teams
Leverage data to drive product improvements
