Job Description

Overpass is looking for a creative, passionate, and audience-focused Demand Generation Manager to join our team. The Demand Generation Manager will be responsible for the strategy, planning, implementation, and execution of integrated campaigns designed to drive education and awareness to our target clients and contractors. Ideally, you are someone who is extremely organized, forward thinking, with a top-down driven approach designed to cater to our target audience.

A successful candidate should have hands-on experience conceptualizing, developing and executing customer-focused awareness and education strategies. This includes creating and executing a successful, data driven social media strategy with the intent to build brand awareness and drive revenue. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of B2B marketing, with a background in content strategy and customer acquisition. They will know how to apply these techniques to design and execute campaigns that result in awareness, education, consideration and purchase.

 

This role requires a passion for innovation and a constant focus on building brand awareness. This person reports to the CEO and will lead an in-house team composed of a marketing designer, marketing coordinator and social media coordinator along with a team of third party consultants including a copy writer, video editor and developer. This person will work closely with these individuals to develop and deliver a content mix, with the intent to drive awareness and increase interest in Overpass’ platform.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years in SaaS B2B marketing, demand generation marketing, social media strategy

  • Ability to establish a strong narrative and keep a consistent tone and voice throughout the brand messaging

  • Ability to segment a market, research customers and identify trends

  • Track record of success in building brand awareness, brand positioning, effective messaging, and content creation and execution

  • Experience in social strategy development and execution in a fast-growing organization

  • Exceptional project management, time-management and task-management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, creative, out of the box thinker and an ability to maximize a budget

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize data, identify significant trends and optimize content

  • Knowledge of and familiarity with trends in the tech industry and social media world

  • Ability to learn new technologies, products, or systems quickly.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead demand creation effort through developing and deploying unique brand awareness strategies.

  • Coordinate between internal and external contributors and ensure flawless campaign execution.

  • Direct creative and copy and ensure customer alignment of all marketing assets.

  • Research and drive strategy for channel distribution.

  • Create and maintain relationships with third party marketing counterparts

  • Oversee video direction and image editing and deployment

  • Document strategy, timeline, content mix and resources

  • Interview customers and extract qualitative and quantitative data driving decisions.

  • Ensure attribution accuracy and consistency.

  • Organize and analyze internal data and prepare reports for stakeholders

  • Regularly audit company wide messaging to ensure brand narrative consistency

  • Ideate and execute new brand awareness strategies as the brand evolves

  • Dive deep into customer journey to eliminate friction and ensure brand loyalty

  • Collaborate with direct reports, stakeholders and CEO.
