Outside TV is currently looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team to support our expanding digital platforms. This employee will work directly with the Digital Team (Marketing, Partnership and Content) playing an integral role in the development, maintenance and overall growth of our digital platforms. These platforms include Social Media, Website, App/OTT and our UGC video contesting platform, Campfire.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, a self-starter, operates well in a fast moving environment, and is committed to delivering quality service. Excellent communication skills are essential. The candidate should be a team player who is proactive, enjoys problem solving, and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the company.
The Marketing Manager will be based out of our Westport, CT office. All employees must work on-site.
Maintain and grow our UGC video contesting platform, Campfire, and keep the internal team up to date on the latest and greatest performance and submissions
Develop and maintain relationships with community members and facilitate collaborations with sponsors, athletes and influencers
Manage Campfire Campaigns including graphics requests, publishing and providing recap docs for participating partners
Oversee development and update marketing assets within O&O platforms i.e. Social Media, Website, App/OTT and Campfire
Schedule and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with business and marketing strategies
Provide engaging copy to accompany image and video content for social media accounts
Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
Coordinate with Marketing and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency
Build/maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor, analyze, and improve the performance of our products and support other stakeholders
Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends
Continue to develop and manage Outside TV’s Internship Program
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram and relevant social platforms
Experience with website content management systems i.e. Wordpress / Squarespace / etc.
Experience with social monitoring and publishing tools i.e. Hootsuite / Meltwater / etc.
Experience handling client relationships and account management
Knowledge of tracking campaign metrics and KPIs
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Interest and understanding of the adventure/action sports world is a plus
3-5 years of relevant work experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and the ability to multitask
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
Strong campaign management and troubleshooting skills
