Director of Paid Media Marketing

The Director of Paid Media Marketing is a Senior position responsible for managing our talented PPC team. In this role, you will be mentoring and coaching the team in developing and implementing PPC strategies for our clients, monitoring the department budget with a growth mindset, and continuing to build upon our great processes.  You will also support the team by making recommendations on client management and jumping in when needed. Overall, this is the perfect opportunity for someone who loves building great teams and leading both the team and clients towards success!

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of experience managing a Paid Search Team is a requirement.
  • Ability to be a talented technical leader and people leader
  • 4 + years of experience with paid advertising in Google Ads is a requirement.
  • Comprehensive understanding of PPC best practices.
  • Organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Strong and adaptable communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent writing skills are critical to this role, as is the ability to clearly communicate campaign results to clients. 
  • Being a willing team leader AND team player: we win together, and if we lose, we learn, regroup, and figure out how to win the next round together.
  • Being open to new processes, ideas, and adaptation.
  • In-depth knowledge of various PPC tools, to perform keyword research, competitive analysis, and other search marketing activities.
  • Experience with Google Ads Search Network, Display Network, Google Shopping
  • Experience with Facebook Ads and Affiliate marketing.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics & Search Console.
  • Proficiency with the Google Workspace—specifically Docs & Sheets.
  • Functional HTML/CSS knowledge.

NOTE: This position is a Remote role, but Local candidates are welcome to apply and choose to work in the office. This role may require monthly in-office visits for Remote employees.
