Salary: $15.00 per hour
Job Overview:
The seasonal Grounds & Facilities Technician position is available April through October. Responsibilities include executing and implementing all maintenance, care and repair functions for facilities and grounds owned or used by the District, in addition to supporting other district operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Landscape work including but not limited to: mowing, trimming, weeding, watering, planting
- Waste removal from parks and playing fields
- Special event assistance
- Conservation work
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Physically able to do manual labor
- Work in all weather conditions
Hours:
- Up to 40 hours per week
- Occasional evening and weekends required
