Job Description

Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Senior Director to join our Value Capture team.

Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves—one that behaves like a doctor in the family.

About the role

The Senior Director of Risk Adjustment will guide the advancement of Oscar's value capture plans for its ACA and MA populations. You will be responsible for strategic planning and program design & optimization, ensuring that Oscar's risk adjustment programs are efficient, effective, and compliant. You will need to collaborate with partners across the enterprise to develop new programs and improve existing retrospective and prospective risk adjustment programs. You will lead a team with strong analytic and program management skills that develop and oversee the risk adjustment operations budget, planning for major projects (e.g. the annual chart retrieval process, RADV), and managing important partners and vendors.

You will report to the VP, Value Capture.

This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Washington, D.C.
