Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Project Management Associate, Platform Strategy & Ops Transformation to join our Platform Strategy team.

About the roleThe strategy and operations transformation team is an exciting, fast paced, and high impact team that supports the operations organization and the company broadly across its top priority initiatives. The team focuses on 1) central strategy efforts such as running our corporate strategy process 2) Ops transformation projects where we support the org as an internal consulting team with the goal of driving value and operational excellence. We are seeking a strong project management associate who can own the process management of this portfolio of projects, which includes internal and external stakeholder management, end-to-end coordination, progress tracking and reporting, post-implementation monitoring, and more. Our team has a broad mandate and so it's not unheard for you to stretch into adjacent areas - being adaptable is important!
You will report to the Vice President, Platform Strategy.
This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Washington, D.C. Note, this list of states is subject to change. #LI-Remote
The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington is: $96,000 - $126,000 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $86,400 - $113,400 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities- Under the guidance of senior PMs or Business Operations colleagues, work with project sponsors to scope, design, prioritize, and manage technical operations roadmaps, key performance indicator definitions, detailed work plans, resource needs, budget and timelines
- Communicate project progress (including meeting minutes), risks, and decisions to key stakeholders and leadership
- Support the end-to-end project management of cross-functional projects
- Contribute to the analysis of project risks, develop recommendations for risk mitigation and effectively communicate risk mitigation options to management and business partners
- Where applicable, Implement and lead key process improvements that markedly move the organization towards operational excellence and develop solutions that radically improve the efficacy and efficiency of existing operational processes
- Build relationships and trust with key stakeholders through strong partnership, and the consistent, high quality and timely delivery of projects
- Develop understanding of insurance operations and the teams, both operationally and culturally, to help identify opportunities for improvement projects
- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years operations experience
- 3+ years of project management/process-oriented operations work experience (lean operations, project management, etc.)
- 3+ years of using data to analyze project performance, identify risks, and develop reports for management and business partners
- Experience in the healthcare payer space
- Technical aptitude as well as advanced Excel skills such as charting, vlookups, pivot tables
- PMP/Lean Six Sigma certification
- Metrics-driven project management approach, constantly guiding business partners towards 'zero defects'
- Demonstrated internal and external relationship management skills, including the ability to influence others, even without direct authority.

Pay Transparency:
Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
