ABOUT THE ROLE This is the first technical position on the integration team and you will initially spend substantial time working interdependently with the engineering and data science team while also interacting with prospects and customers.
You will have a key role in the success of on-boarding new customers to Orum, working to understand customer data constraints, and effectively integrate them with our platform. You will also be influential in building a suite of processes and tools to streamline our technical client integration process. A successful candidate will: * Accelerate customer integration by leading the technical implementation journey and managing timelines. * Build tooling and automation to improve integration workflows. * Maintain a working knowledge of our data and engineering systems. * Advocate for customer needs in order to overcome adoption and integration blockers and foster new feature development. * Develop best practices and technical assets based on learnings from customer engagements to support initiatives to scale adoption. ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate has experience at a software company, or in data analytics, and can own a technical customer integration end to end. * You work seamlessly in a customer facing role and are comfortable creating a bridge between technical teams. * You understand the mechanics of data retrieval and formatting. * You write code that can map and validate data. * You will define custom jobs as part of our ETL process. * You know the software development lifecycle and are familiar with constraints related to release processes. * You have been the lead on technical product demos, integrations, or services. * You can collaborate with anyone from technicians to C-levels. * You are capable of balancing multiple priorities and foreseeing potential challenges. * You may have worked in fintech, a start-up, or payments, but more importantly you have a desire to never stop learning Requirements * Bachelors degree in CS, Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. * 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, interfacing with stakeholders, driving customer technical implementations or transformation programs. * Comfortable with scripting languages such as Bash, SQL, and Python. * Experience working with relational databases and other distributed systems for storing and querying data. * Familiarity with AWS and cloud infrastructure providers. * Demonstrated success in building both processes and tools for client integration. * Low-ego and high-empathy; you consistently work well with a wide range of people and build trust quickly. * Show up and lead with with a good vibes only mindset and bring a can-do outlook.
