IT Business Applications Manager

What To Expect:

The IT Business Applications Manager is responsible for the leadership of our application teams (including ERP, Web and BI) while assisting in planning, design, configuration, and operation of the various data platforms at Ortho Molecular Products, Inc. A key responsibility is partnering with business departments to ensure high quality, cost-effective technology solutions that are consistent with the business’ plans and processes.

• Mentors and trains IT staff on best practices, ERP related items, and data reporting – including code reviews/walkthroughs.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities including but not limited to leading, guiding, and coaching team members for success in their roles.
• Aid in the development and execution of the IT 3, 6, and 10-year strategic objectives, and 1-year tactical objectives to enable company growth, capability, service, data privacy, resource planning and cyber security.
• Creates and maintains portions of the annual IT Expense and Capital budgets.
• Assists in yearly development of the technology roadmap, backup strategy, and DR planning.
• Establishes ERP and data reporting best practices throughout OMPI.
• Creates and maintains IT SOP’s on source code control, code reviews and issue tracking.
• Possesses understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
• Contribute to company’s objective in achieving and maintaining performance excellence via attainment of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality award through education, communication, support and training.

What You Will Contribute:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
• 10+ years’ experience involved in strategic technology planning.
• Demonstrated success in leading effective teams, problem solving, root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Must show commitment to results, good judgment, teamwork, process improvement, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills for interacting with senior leaders and employees.
• Exhibit character qualities of dependability, orderliness, initiative, discipline, and responsibility.
