POSITION: IT Systems Analyst

LOCATION: Hybrid flexible; position will operate out of an OrePac location (Boise, ID; Bozeman, MT; Denver, CO; Ontario, CA; Phoenix, AZ; Sacramento, CA; Salt Lake City, UT; Spokane, WA; Tacoma, WA; or Wilsonville, OR)

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday

PAY: Competitive compensation, D.O.E. + quarterly/annual performance bonuses based on branch/company performance

We are looking for an IT Systems Analyst. This position will work closely with IT leadership and branch personnel to provide system support for ERP users, in addition to supporting, maintaining, and enhancing key ERP functional areas. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who has excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, and a strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure in the business environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Extract data, update records, configure system settings and perform assigned tasks in several areas within the Information Systems (IS) department.
  • Perform ERP system enhancement, maintenance, and testing.
  • Provide support for user logins, security, and ERP system functionality. Train users on systems enhancements and new programs.
  • Analyze and transform data.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy data solutions.
  • Work with ERP system users and management to determine appropriate system configuration and setup.
  • Provide support for user logins, security, and ERP system functionality.
  • Thoroughly understand ERP database schema.
  • Design, develop and maintain automated workflow processes.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot ERP system issues reported by users.
  • Perform testing and QA activities.
  • Perform research and project management for various IS projects as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field (preferred but not required)
  • ERP system administration skills
  • Data analysis skills, especially for large datasets
  • SQL query skills
  • Professional writing and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivation
  • Collaborative teamwork mindset and comfortable working independently
  • User support skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; expert level proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time (depending on location)
