You should be a detail-oriented and organized professional staff accountant. You will be a critical part of our team in managing the finances of our business, recording financial transactions and generating relevant reports. You will also collaborate and communicate with employees, vendors, and customers to ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
Accountant Duties and Responsibilities
Perform general bookkeeping and accounting duties.
Manage Accounts Payable.
Perform reconciliations of bank accounts.
Work with CFO and VP Finance to issue financial statements.
Process company payroll.
Distribute customer invoices and ensure that house account receivables are collected in a timely manner.
Manage the office cash transactions with Ops team.
Maintain an organized and streamlined accounting system.
Provide administrative support to management when required.
Minimum of 4 years previous experience in professional accounting office or other related fields
Knowledge of 280E and other cannabis-specific tax regulations a major plus
Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise required, current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
Experience with inventory costing and margin analysis
