Job Overview:

We are seeking a Residential Solar Installer as well as other technical positions to assist with projects in all of our locations including Florida, Maryland, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia +others. The Solar Installer is responsible for assembling and installing solar photovoltaic (PV) modules to roofs and other structures in compliance with site assessment and schematics.

Requirements:

• Measuring, cutting, assembling, hoisting, anchoring and placing solar modules
• Install photovoltaic solar modules panels in accordance with codes and standards, using drawings, schematics and instructions
• Apply weather sealing to array, building or support mechanisms
• Identify and resolve any deficiencies in photovoltaic (PV) system electrical circuit

Qualifications:

• 1-2 Years’ of experience in roofing or residential solar installation preferred
• Background knowledge of solar systems and electrical components preferred
• General construction knowledge preferred
• Ability to work safely on a roof
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 to 50 pounds
• Good mechanical skill set such as; working with hands, tools, climbing, good sense of balance, bending, kneeling, etc.
• Reliable, hardworking, arrives to work on time
• Experience with all types of hand-held and power tools
• Capable of listening and communicating with supervision and other employees
