Graphics Designer Washington, DC Responsibilities: The Graphics Designer will support the Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, and Principal Assistant Program Managers for the CVN 78 Program Office (PMS 378) in the execution of the program. The Graphic Designer will assist in drafting, editing, proofreading and formatting a variety of communication materials to include briefing materials, posters, displays, media, and official Department of Navy documents to ensure consistent tone, appearance, format and standard of excellence. Requirements: Ideal candidate should have 5 or more years relevant or specialized experience in graphics design.
In particular, pertaining to the following areas: Must be independent, highly organized and able to work on multiple projects with competing deadlines at the same time. Must be resourceful, take initiative, and be able to execute high-quality, high-visibility products in accordance with deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to produce content independently, using correct spelling and grammar. Team player able to work with government and contractor technical and administrative teams. Expertise with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in particular).
Expertise with variety of graphics design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat), etc. Skilled in Data Visualization principles and techniques Bachelor's Degree Samples of prior work requested Secret Security Clearance required.
