Professional Relations Manager
(customer service and support, sales/marketing)
Oral Surgery Management, LLC. is seeking a person with a dynamic personality and excellent people skills to provide customer service and support to referring doctors, as well as develop relationships with new doctors to our practices. This person will represent and promote our five oral surgery practices and be the first point of contact and liaison with doctors’ offices. Candidates should be innovative in helping us grow our referring doctor and patient base. This position is for an individual who is aspiring for continued interpersonal growth and is passionate about excellence in patient care. This position is well suited for a motivated person who seeks an environment of working collaboratively with the team.
The patient experience is a critical focal point in the company’s culture, and the Professional Relations Manager must share that value. Important to the long-term success of OSM, the Professional Relations Manager must have a passion for driving revenue through new referral acquisition and retention.
Must build and maintain strong, long term relationships and have frequent contact with referring dental office team members, including time spent visiting referring offices to touch bases, promote CE events, meet new staff members, deliver gifts, etc.
Supports and works closely with each office Operations Manager to ensure attention is given to each referral as needed
Will suggest, design, and implement marketing opportunities for various groups of referring dentists/offices
Be a “brand champion” - ensure all marketing, advertising, promotions are “on brand”
Constantly assessing the success of all marketing initiatives
Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing the referral trends, indicating growth in target referral groups and ROI for marketing activities
Will travel between our five locations on a daily regular basis, as determined by the needs of the referring offices in those locations – it is estimated that time spent in the field with referring offices is 75-80% each week
Efficiently plan and help organize referral CE programs, promotional events and activities such as health fairs, neighborhood venues, annual referral parties
Monitors each office budget and stays within limits for events, parties and referral gifts
Qualifications & Skills
Must present our offices in a friendly, positive, and professional manner by way of appearance, language and daily activities
Must have a strong work ethic and be honest in all day to day tasks
Accurate planning and organizational skills
Personal Leadership and Influencing skills
Must be able to communicate effectively with team members/colleagues and delegates effectively
Experience And Requirements
3+ years in marketing, sales, customer service and/or public relations is required
Oral surgery/dental experience is preferred although it is not required
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills
Must have reliable transportation, valid TX DL, and current auto insurance
Travel allowance is given
