Develops courseware to support new and existing products, often though not exclusively in conjunction with Product Division.
Coordinate and evaluate development contributions from other courseware development team members. Develop certification questions for use in the Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) exams. Solicit & incorporate feedback from reviews and training events. Deliver training at train-the-trainer and pilot events.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Bachelor*s Degree in Computer Science or Instructional Design. Four years adult education experience (as teacher or curriculum developer). Seven years technical or professional experience using Oracle products or related software. Strong SQL and PL/SQL knowledge and experience. Knowledge of XML, Java, and J2EE technologies. Experience with Oracle9i Database administration. Knowledge of Oracle9i Application server.

OracleCloud University (OCU) is a growing business dedicated to training customers,partners and employees on Oracle s cloud products including all of SaaS, PaaSand IaaS. The team offers training viadigital subscriptions for all SaaS, PaaS and OCI cloud offerings. Theseofferings feature over 4000 hours of cloud related content built on a platformthat offers knowledge checks, certification, skill paths, gamification and liveanalytics on learner progress. Customers are already paying for and consumingthousands of hours of content in a modern learning framework. In addition, theteam also teaches over 2000 live cloud classes a year featuring cloud contentand hands on labs to practice and reinforce their learning experience.
Thisrole is to join the OCU SaaS Content team to design and drive the creation ofinnovative learning content for CX Cloud. The primary goal is to understand newfeatures being released in the product and create short training assets thatdescribe these features, showcase their value and demonstrate real world practicalapplication of the features. Creating content at/near product availability iskey from a time to market perspective and this cycle will repeat 3-4 times ayear based on the number of cloud updates. Beyond this, the goal is to createother practical content assets in the form of uses cases, best practices etc.Content can be created within the role, collaborating with other groups, withpartners etc.
Theideal candidate is intelligent, passionate, and driven to quickly providetimely content solutions through OCU that will help customers see immediateresults and value with Oracle CX Cloud. The candidate is someone who has worked with customers to createsolutions and/or implemented CX cloud products. A candidate that understands the customer approach and challenges inpreparing for implementation, working with Implementation partners duringconfiguration and on-going administration.
Thisposition is a key role to drive the evolution of OCU s Cloud offerings and tocreate a key differentiator for our training offerings. Going to the cloud iskey for Oracle and having educated customers on the cloud ensures everyone ssuccess. In this role, you will have achance to work with multiple groups in the company including ProductDevelopment, Alliances, Consulting, Support, Customer Success, Renewals teamsetc. in a global capacity.
Keyactivities will include:
Defining and creating New Feature and Applied LearningCX Cloud learning content that is of practical use for customers during thevarious phases of roll out; preparation, implementation, extend and use.
Present this content through digital recordings andalso work with Instructors in OCU as needed to present content in a customerfriendly approach.
Create content based on use cases to clearlyarticulate and demonstrate practical approaches to implementing, integrating orextending CX Cloud
. Thisis a key position and will have exposure to all key OU initiatives andstrategies. This position will also get broad exposure to all of Oracle andwork in a worldwide capacity. It is a unique opportunity to work within abusiness unit at Oracle and get P&L visibility while innovating the nextgeneration model for cloud.

* 10 years experience working in IT with a recent emphasis on Cloud.
* Experience and in depth knowledge with Oracle CX cloud products.
* Ability to network and maintain multiple relationships across Oracle (Development, IT etc.)
* Good communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong organizational ability. Driven by goals and standards of excellence.
* Ability to understand and analyze the industry and market. Proactive, creative and innovative thinker.
* Professional with strong planning skills. Motivation to continuously expand personal professional knowledge.
