Job Description

Lead Construction Superintendent

The Lead Construction Superintendent has overall responsibility for the construction of mid and high-rise residential multi-family developments, ensuring timely completion in accordance with budget and safety requirements. Manages all on-sight construction issues. Resolves any conflicts that might arise among superintendents and subcontractors. Resolves scheduling conflicts and ensures production remains on schedule. Ensures safety and regulatory guidelines are met.

What You'll Do

  • Manage staff of superintendents on site
  • Coordinate and schedule all trade work
  • Interface with governing officials to inspect and approve work
  • Monitor and enforce onsite safety programs
  • Conduct weekly meetings with all trades to coordinate the work
  • Monitor and ensure quality
  • Meet scheduled completion dates
  • Meet budgetary requirements

What You'll Need

  • 5-10 years related experience
  • Mid to high-rise construction experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a construction related field preferred
  • Experience constructing at least a $50M project start to finish

What Will Set You Apart

  • General knowledge of building and mechanical codes, as well as all structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and low voltage systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Project
  • Detailed and organized
  • Proven abilities in leadership and driving production
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide direction and guidance to skilled trades workers
