Job Description

This role is a new leadership position within our client's IT department and will lead ERP implementations and help support existing sites. Seeking an individual with extensive project management skills used for implementing ERP systems, preferably Oracle JDE.

The successful candidate will help with the design, configuration, and deployment of post-merger integration projects. Identify and assess business system needs by working with the business and project team to create logical solutions using JDE applications. Perform research to create functional and technical designs that when developed and implemented will meet business needs.The position requires managing the configuration and testing of the JDE software application to meet those business needs.

Responsibilities include:
-Manage a team of JDE functional analysts, both internal and consultants responsible for Sales, Finance, Procurement, Distribution modules in JDE from both an implementation and support perspective.
-Project manage ERP integrations – developing project timelines, resource requirements, gap and risk assessments, issue management, steering committee updates, etc.
-Coordinate / collaborate with other system (BFC, Roadnet, eCommerce, etc.) owners to manage the implementation plan, gaps, risks, issues, and steering committee updates
-Work with business and the functional analysts on the complex business requirements, to assess functional solution options, configuring the environment to test the options, complete the design with the development team.

Basic Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree in information technology / computer science or related field
-PMP certification or equivalent
-5-7 years leading ERP system implementation / integration projects
-7 years of experience collaborating with the business solving complex issues in a wholesale distribution or manufacturing environment
-7 years of experience troubleshooting production issues.
-5-7 years of people management experience with a track record of team development
-Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Excel, SharePoint, MS Project and analytical tools
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to travel 30-40%
