Supply Chain Consultant / WLM Focus

Remote role, anywhere in the US

consultants on the planet. We’re looking for the right candidate to join the team in a WLM Supply Chain Consultant role.

As a Supply Chain Consultant, you will be a member of the Implementation team responsible for the overall design and implementation required to meet client needs. The Consultant will focus on Blue Yonder Warehouse Labor Management Systems to measure and conduct operational improvements. You will work with client organizations to enhance supply chain and logistics performance through strategic planning, process re-engineering and/ or information technology implementation.


  • Conduct client interviews via phone or onsite.
  • Work directly with client to understand their business and make recommendations for improvement in the area of their business.
  • Share best practices and provide guidance to clients through the duration of the project.
  • Guide client through system implementation, identify any problems, opportunities and risks. Responsible for training clients after the implementation.
  • Responsible for final checklist in the implementation process and customer documentation is complete.
  • Perform Time Studies using Quetech Work Study+ Time Study Software
  • Configure Blue Yonder Warehouse Labor Management (WLM)
  • Utilize Lean principles to facilitate clients through development of Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Create Engineered Labor Standards using MSD Flowcharting
  • Assist with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) projects if needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects of varying scope to successful completion.
  • Communicate with both internal and external customers regarding status of project.
  • Participate and lead, when needed project meetings.
  • Will work with customer after implementation when needed to provide support and issues are addressed.
  • Train the customer’s team and provide knowledge transfer in the operation of modified software when needed.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities and meetings if needed.
  • Participate in industry and marketing activities as needed.
  • Experience and / or Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years of relevant experience with a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Computer Science.
  • 2 years’ experience in JDA/Blue Yonder Warehouse Labor Management System (WLM) and Supply Chain Implementation consulting.
  • 2 years’ experience in JDA/Blue Yonder WLM concepts and configuration.
  • Experience with WMS software preferred (JDA/Blue Yonder, Manhattan, HighJump, etc.)
  • Additional Skills, Abilities and Attributes

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written with internal and external customers.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independent and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure with time restraints, direction and guidance to complete tasks on a timely manner.
  • Strong presentation skills, teaching both verbal and written.

  • Candidate must be authorized to work in the US.
  • This is a home-based full-time exempt role.
  • The position requires up to 50% travel, by plane and/ or car, with overnights.
