Job Title: EI Administrative Assistant & Team Member
Reports To: Vice President of Education Initiatives
Full Time / Hourly Non Exempt
Job Summary
This position is responsible for administrative duties for executive management. Responsibilities include screening calls; managing calendars; arranging travel; preparing reports; training and supervising other support staff; and customer relations. Requires strong computer and Internet research skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, outside clients, and vendors. Sensitivity to confidential matters is required.

Education Required:
Education Initiatives team members must have at least a bachelor's degree. Advanced degree in educational leadership or education is a plus.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Leadership, communication, organization, decision-making, bi-lingual.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
This position may require travel both domestically and internationally.

Work week/ hours of work:
Monday - Friday during business hours. 40 hours/week. Some flexibility may be required at times to accommodate teams workingon different projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include but not limited to:
- Email management: cleaning/sorting/responding
- Systemic tasks: briefings, scheduling, preparing weekly/monthly documents
- Supply orders
- Calendar management & travel preparation
- Financial reporting, financial invoice processing, expense tracking
- Public relations
- Liaison support: social media management, securing meeting rooms
- Meeting preparation
- Documenting & securing contractors/vendors
- Event coordination: planning, preparation, & execution
- Hosting Guests
- Operational support: orders, brainstorming, communicating with families, facilitating communication with team members, volunteers, fellows, & interns
- Support for team members as requested
- Support for EI Initiatives (ICS, PA and others) as requested
- Attend meetings, calls, team sessions
- Meeting notes
- Professional research
- Supports completion of Purpose Academy school office administrative duties as directed by the VP of Education Initiatives
