One Step Secure I/T is looking for full-time Managed Services Sales Representative.
One Step Secure I/T is an MSP providing the latest in managed services and cybersecurity. One Step Secure I/T specialists work in a variety of dynamic environments providing comprehensive services for network infrastructure development and management.
- Generate new prospects and opportunities via phone, email and social media to understand technology needs and how our products and services can meet or exceed expectations.
- Build a viable sales pipeline which supports quota attainment.
- Adopt and execute One Step’s core sales strategies including the TruMethods approach to selling managed IT services.
- Gain and maintain access to decision makers and end users in prospect and client accounts.
- Collaborate with other One Step Account Managers to expand channel presence and relationships within your network.
- Perform product presentations to customers focused on selling and positioning comprehensive MSP solutions.
- Cultivate and leverage complimentary partner relationships to obtain referrals and/or develop cooperative engagements to meet the needs of our customers
- Contact prospects by using the company’s sales database to reach those qualified by our lead development division.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing executives within the MSP community.
- Proactively research the latest MSP industry trends, statistics and emerging technologies and report back to senior leadership.
- Follow company policy and procedures on database management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 5+ years of experience selling comprehensive Managed IT Services to enterprise-level clients.
- Strong understanding of the Managed Service Provider (MSP) business model and a proven track record in managing and growing a profitable MSP portfolio of monthly recurring revenue (MRR).
- Experience selling B2B Cloud/SaaS/Network solutions (i.e. security services, backup solutions, hosted IT environments, networking hardware, web-based software) either in a VAR or MSP setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT or related field preferred.
- Equivalent work experience to meet the essential functions of the position may be accepted.
- Strong self-confidence and communication skills in order to effectively communicate with owners and C-Level Executives
- Strong business acumen so as to have effective business meetings
- Strong technical skills and competent understanding of IT networks, cloud services and related technology systems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team player
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Desire to work in a high-energy sales team environment
- Proven track record of building strong professional relationships at an executive level
- Understanding of retail environments including point-of-sale technology a plus
