to develop user interfaces within a commercial electronic health record systems (EHRS) applications.
Clinical Application Developer Responsibilities:
Be responsible for developing, testing and supporting software in a fast paced and agile environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure
Work with EHRS partners and architects to develop software technology plans
Build software code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality
Research, review, troubleshoot and analyze system opportunities and problems to identify solutions and/or make appropriate referrals
Understand performance parameters and assess UI impact on application performance
Develop and maintain detailed support plans associated with ongoing maintenance and support of medical service lines and related applications
Clinical Application Developer Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and related application development/support experience
Experience contributing to the support, configuration and development of at least one Epic-specific healthcare enterprise application
Experience supporting an EHR in an ambulatory or hospital setting
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with any of the following workflows: scheduling, referrals, ambulatory or inpatient clinical documentation, patient EHR portals, and telemedicine
