We are looking for an experienced Retail Lending Market Manager. This is a great opportunity to build and develop a market new to the organization and execute your vision. The role comes with an aggressive $100k-120k salary plus negotiable override.

Responsibilities: The Retail Lending Market Manager will manage Retail Lending sales activities with the goal of increasing closed loan volume across an assigned geographic area, with a key focus on consistent day to day sales activities as well as the promotion and accounting of such activities. The Retail Lending Market Manager will maintain weekly contact with all assigned offices and make personal visits to branch locations a minimum of every calendar quarter. This position requires the individual to set and manage sales goals for their assigned branches and promote business opportunities in the assigned areas. The individual is also responsible to coaching, supporting, and mentoring Branch Managers and Loan Officers toward achieving their respective sales goals.

This position requires the individual to work independently and in a team environment, and to lead a team of sales professionals that will work directly with the public to meet their mortgage lending needs. In addition, the person must present themselves in a consistently professional manner and should model the company's values.

Key position functions:

Lending Management • Identify and assist in the targeting of mortgage referral sources. • Lead & coordinate marketing efforts via meetings, presentations and/or workshops. • Monitor and manage mortgage loan sales against targets by tracking all recorded sales and activity schedules. • Provide Branch Managers/Loan Officer's with necessary information and effective engagement plans on new sales activities/ opportunities. • Focus sales activities at branch level • Coordinate and implement consistent and proper use of CRM system. Additional duties include pipeline maintenance and loan file flow with a focus on quality loan submissions from their assigned sales' people.

People Management • Facilitate partnership with assigned area to stimulate business growth without compromising risk & loan quality. • Educate, mentor and direct Branch/Sales Managers/Loan Officers in the general knowledge and application of loan programs. • Responsible to handle and manage proper communications between sales and operations staff.

Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree or 3-5 years' experience in a related field. Prior Mortgage or banking experience of 2-4 years is required. Successful and proven track record in the management of people, and the ability to travel.
