Job Description: Job Summary: The Media Coordinator will play a key role in marketing our organization with responsibility over graphic and website design, maintenance, operation and creation of corporate collateral and publications. The Media Coordinator will also support marketing activities such as email and direct mail campaigns, special events and social media programs. The ideal candidate will have experience with both print and web design. Knowledge of basic web development and SEO and video editing skills are a plus. Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Media Coordinator will be a key part of the organization’s communications team. The individual will work closely with the organization’s Compliance and Business Services Manager and will collaborate with staff from across the organization on a variety of web, graphics, and related tasks. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Handle the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the corporate website, including incorporating new technologies, regularly update the content, ongoing enhancements and working with external web design firmCoordinate web functions, monitor web activities and perform regular analysis and website analyticsWork collaboratively with staff to edit and post online content, including blog posts, as requested.Support blogging activities, posting activities such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, SlideShare, YouTube and other interactive social media tools and platforms Provide documentation of web best practices and writing maintainable HTML and assuring that all web pages and code comply with appropriate policies, guidelines and standardsCreate appropriate imagery for social media and web updates Effectively manage, warehouses and catalog all website content assets Design and produces corporate collateral material (internal and external) ensuring all graphic design work meets corporate guidelines. Collateral may include brochures, data sheets, posters, presentation material, multimedia, illustration, logo design, exhibit material, print ads, banner ads and packaging.Identify and design appropriate icons, images and other graphic elements to be included in various marketing materials Work with the team on ad campaign development and execution, collateral design, event material and more as directedSupport the web components of ongoing marketing campaigns, warm landing pages, forms, auto responses and subscriptions Create targeted email communications and lead nurture programs; design copy and graphics, build in HTML, test and send emails and report on results; create landing pages and optimize content to drive conversions; draft and/or design action alerts, announcements, and other communications; maintain an updated list of the organization’s e-mail contacts Create and publish various email newsletters; proofread and fact-check the organization's online newsletter. Design and produce subject-matter reports and the organization's all-digital annual report.Build and maintain relationships with outside vendors and manages sourcing for marketing Create PowerPoint/Keynote presentation materials. Coordinate photographer and videographer shoots and footage for OFH (or company/organization) Utilize digital camera and software, video and audio recording equipment as necessary Graphic design, including infographics, social media-oriented graphics, charts, and graphs. Create camera-ready and digital pdf file layouts for all publications: newsletter, membership materials brochures, calendars, booklets, posters and more as neededPrepare printing specifications and monitor production deadlines and quality of printing projects with print industryAble to handle multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines without compromising design integrity Functional Duties:Billboards (designing, negotiations for contract, and coordinating/maintaining production)TV (writing scripts, negotiations for contract, and coordinating/maintaining production)Radio (writing scripts, negotiations for contract, and coordinating/maintaining production)Print newspaper, magazine and directory advertisementsOutdoor advertising including airport, mall advertising and signageCoordinate the setup of events (photography, set-up, vendor management, media coordinating, marketing materials/equipment management)Special project coordinating (Like the intranet and company standardization of indoor aesthetics)Public relations (press releases and media coordination at Omni events and public service announcements)Newsletter coordinating and implementationEmail list collection and maintenancePromotional and product development (sunglasses pens, ect… ordering and orderingCoordinating marketing agency’s projects (coordinating with marketing vendors for marketing campaigns)Social Media development and coordinating (implementation and helping develop the concepts for the campaigns)Developing annual marketing budget allocation with assistance of marketing director Additional DutiesHIPAA compliance - Responsible for being aware of and complying with all HIPAA regulations and requirements. Treats all member information confidential.Compliance - Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement - Participate in Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement activities and contribute towards the overall performance improvement of the organization.IT - Required learning and using the Electronic Health Record and Practice Electronic System and its components. As required by the job functions and highlighted in the Policies and Procedures. These components include NextGen, PMS, QSI and other electronic features, as they are developed and implemented, as applicable to work environment. All employees will participate in Patient Centered Health Home Model at Omni Family Health. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Any combination of education and experience, which would provide the necessary knowledge’s and abilities, is qualifying.Education: An Associate Degree or Technical Certificate or Bachelor degree in communications, marketing, and/or graphic design. Work Experience: Level I Work requires 1 year of related web and graphics design experience to acquire competence in applying general marketing, communications, and/or web and graphic design. Level II Work requires 3 years of related web and graphics design experience to acquire competence in applying general marketing, communications, and/or web and graphic design. Level III Work requires 5 years of related web and graphics design experience to acquire competence in applying general marketing, communications, and/or web and graphic design. Essential/Required Skills:Fluency in current graphic design practices, web design software and other applications, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Flash (preferred), PowerPoint, QuarkXpress (preferred) and Dreamweaver Motivated, self-starter with a proactive personality who is able to work independently or with a team Possess a high-level of attention to accuracy and detail Strong knowledge of Web site structure and functionality Strong conceptual skills, including online experience concepts Strong technical knowledge of how web-based technologies apply to web design such as HTML, Flash, CSS Experience with HTML 3.2/4.0 at the tag level and HTML Editor, e.g., Dreamweaver Experience with DHTML, COM and client-side JavaScript programming (preferred)Knowledge of WordPress and related blogging tools Experience with search engine optimization tactics and improving organic search engine results for specified keywords Experience converting images (TIFF, BMP, PSD) for online use (JPG, GIF) using Adobe ImageReady and PhotoShop or other Experience with international and localization design considerations Experience with marketing, social media, online campaigns and subscription featuresAble to work flexible hours as needed Some database management experience Comprehensive knowledge of graphic design principles and a wide variety of media and production methods including multimedia and video Experience managing content on websites, blogs, and other online platforms, including experience with Wordpress, Drupal or a comparable content management systemOutstanding graphic design skills and the ability to conform to an organization's established style guideExperience working with social media staff and web design consultants strongly preferredProficient on Mac OS X; Adobe Master Collection 5.5, that includes In Design (preferred), After Effects (preferred), Fireworks (preferred), Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office software applicationsExperience establishing and using list serve, as well as hard-coding html and Internet links within mailings to increase user activity and interest, in particular with Exact Target Desired Skills:Strong writing skills a plus Experience in the technology field is preferred Accuracy, clarity, consistency and demonstrated analytical skills Superior communications and organization skills Strong interpersonal skills and experience with working within cross-functional teams Strong organizational and time-management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and produce results quickly and efficiently Ability to handle multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines at once Flexible and “can-do” attitude Responsible To: Director of Communications Company Description: Omni Family Health is a dynamic and growing non-profit organization.
