Job Description

 Behavioral Health Grants Manager

Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is hiring a Behavioral Health Grants Manager to our team! This position will be responsible for overseeing the overall organization, implementation, administration, promotion and evaluation of behavioral health grants. Additionally, this position provides statistical and epidemiological information for research, quality control and improvement; responsible for data analysis using numerous techniques.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for administrative duties of Behavioral Health grants management with responsibility to include grant writing and actively seeking potential grants participation.
  • Regularly evaluates programs for compliance and effectiveness, makes improvements when necessary, and tracks and reports how services are delivered.  Supports findings with objective data, including statistics, research, and objective data tools. 
  • Keeps up with trends in the field to ensure programs are evidence-based and align with the strategic plan. 
  • Manages program budgets, obtains funding, and searches for new funding sources. Coordinates all grant activity with Director of Behavioral Health.
  • Performs analyses by using statistical techniques commonly employed in epidemiologic evaluations to interpret and analyze observed health phenomena.  Creates MS Access/Excel databases for tracking and reporting purposes and uses databases for analysis of health problems.  Uses surveillance systems to collect disease or health outcome data.  Generates descriptive analyses of surveillance data for a variety of audiences.
  • Participates on internal and external committees and workgroups related to areas of expertise. 
  • Assists in writing abstract to help present program findings.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred.
  • Emphasis on statistics and epidemiology from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • 2+ years of grant management experience preferred
