Analyst / Senior Analyst - Forensic Accounting & Litigation Consulting (Financial Forensics)

We are seeking a full-time Analyst / Senior Analyst for our Forensic Accounting / Litigation Consulting (Financial Forensics) practice based out of Reston, Virginia. This position is ideal for someone with one to five years of recent public accounting or related forensic accounting / litigation support experience. We perform high level accounting consulting services, including forensic accounting, litigation support and expert witness services in connection with highly complex commercial disputes, regulatory matters and other legal proceedings.

Qualified candidates must possess a degree in accounting, an active CPA license and a minimum of one year of recent top-tier public accounting or related forensic accounting / litigation consulting experience. Our consultants must possess outstanding communication skills and a commitment to excellence in all they do. Travel for this position is dependent upon the nature of the assignment and varies as a result but is estimated to be between 10% and 20%.

Typical responsibilities for this role include participation in all phases of forensic accounting/litigation consulting engagements including client interaction, analysis of documents, analytical assessments, presentation of findings through visual aids as well as written reports, assistance with depositions, and participation in trials and arbitration proceedings.

Qualified candidates should possess:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Active CPA license
  • Minimum of one year of related experience within public accounting / auditing, forensic accounting or litigation support consulting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience supervising staff
  • Effective client service skills
  • Insurance or financial services experience valued but not required
