Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Communications Specialist will be responsible for the outbound marketing activities for all the ORTEC US products in the selected industries. The Senior Communications Specialist has a passion for marketing, campaigns, advertising, and understands the importance of getting the details right. This role is about communication and organization as well as the ability to roll up your sleeves to get the job done. This person is expected to be proactive, resourceful, and able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities. The SeniorCommunication Specialist is expected to be the expert in buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge to the sales channel. This position reports directly to the Marketing Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop product solution positioning and messaging that differentiates ORTEC to prospects.Develop realistic marketing strategies, objectives, targets, and measures that drive demand at our prospective customers.Develop, execute, and analyze the effect of marketing programs for selected industries that drive awareness and demand.Develop, execute and analyze lead generation campaigns, including e-mail and social media actions, webinars and other inbound/outbound marketing actions. Report results of marketing and lead generation campaigns to all stakeholders (marketing, sales, lead gen).Liaise with ORTEC regions on marketing campaigns and events.Work with Sales Directors and the Sales Operations team to translate and develop US specific marketing material and content, such as one-pagers, PPT presentations, case studies, data sheets, white papers, and more.Create mailing lists and send internal and external newsletters.Represent the company in corporate events, industrial meetings, trade shows, and conferences.Utilize market research and CRM data to determine the best and most effective Marketing programs.Through interviews, surveys, focus groups, and sales data, gain insight into customer use of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas.Propose new marketing initiatives and plans that stays within the budget.Research competitor’s and their offerings as part of the market analysis and make this available to the Sales Director and Sales Operations team.Initiate and coordinate marketing automation activities, including the design and implementation of new concepts and techniques.Report results based on pre-defined KPI’s.Consistently ensure that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with ORTEC values. Education B.A., Marketing, Business or other related field or equivalent work experience. ExperienceA strong passion for Marketing with a creative interpretation of how to best bring content to life.At least 5 years’ software/SAAS marketing experience.Strong business acumen / substantial marketing experience.Proven history of creating effective global marketing programs.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.Very strong written communication skills.Great people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with strong follow-through.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Knowledge and experience with websites, http technology, CRM, LinkedIn, Google Analytics and other marketing related automation tools (Salesforce, Pardot, Eloqua, MailChimp, etc.) as well as Adobe (PhotoShop, InDesign, etc.).Demonstrated experience in various forms of writing.No-nonsense, proactive personality, team player with positive attitude.Ability to travel as required meeting team and department goals (up to 10%) (This is an Atlanta Office-based position.)Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
