Director, On-Line Content

We're looking for a senior editor to manage the quality and usability of on-line content of the OPEN MINDS market intelligence service. This executive is also responsible for ensuring the best possible content experience for the market intelligence service subscribers, as well as optimizing the service and its content as a revenue source for the company.

The ideal candidate for this role has experience managing web-based content and knowledge of the health and human service field. This executive consistently plans ahead, can manage a diverse team with multiple deadlines, and maintains structure throughout their work. This role combines the innovativeness of a creative team leader with the practical focus of an editor and production manager.

This is a great position for someone who wants to contribute to the on-going discussion of care of consumers with chronic conditions and complex needs. OPEN MINDS provides market intelligence and consultation on management best practices to organizations serving consumers with behavioral disorders, chronic medical conditions, autism, I/DD, alzheimer's and dementias, and social support needs. And our 200+ talent team provides thought leadership to executives in these sectors of the field.

Excellent writing, editing, organizational, and communication skills are essential. Our content is published on the WordPress platform. Most oversight requires collaboration with our talent team, as well as frequent contact with our client organizations in the health and human service field. Some travel to attend meetings is required.

This is a full-time salaried position and can be based anywhere in the continental United States. At least five years of writing/editing/management experience and five years of health care experience is required, including experience writing for digital media, including blogs, web pages, and social media.
