Financial Project Analyst

Ideal candidate will serve as Financial Project Analyst for OPEN Health's Evidence and Access CoE. They will work closely with our Manager of Financial Analysis and Reporting. Main responsibilities will include assisting with reporting of critical KPIs including sales, revenue, and EBITDA targets for region(s) as well as assisting with forecasting and budgeting needs.

As part of the Finance team, you'll be responsible for the following activities:
  • Becoming an integral part of the finance team responsible for accurate revenue reporting and financial analysis
  • Supporting Project Directors with project financial administration and reporting
  • Meeting with project leads monthly to review % completion on projects to ensure revenue is recorded accurately
  • Assisting in the integration of systems and processes and the development and roll out of new initiatives
  • Producing and analyzing key business metrics and reporting to drive performance at the COE and Region level
  • Developing and presenting accurate and meaningful information to the COE Finance Director explaining the "why" behind the numbers
  • Supporting the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes
  • Being a key participant in other Business Strategy projects as required

What you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; additional degree in finance a plus!
  • 3-5+ years' experience in finance and/or accounting
  • Strong computer skills, including MS365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Management software
  • Advanced Excel skills: numerous analyses and spreadsheet projects are required to achieve success in this position
  • Exceptional knowledge of finance and reporting
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships. prioritize in a team-based research consultancy setting to ensure expectations are exceeded
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Superior communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong problem solving, project management, analytical and organizational skills; including the ability to prepare and present relevant summaries of complex materials.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills, as well as an ability to develop these qualities in others
  • Strong financial modelling skills in Excel

Highly desirable:
  • Experience in using IBM Congos TM1 (necessary), Dynamic CRM and Concur a plus!
  • Experience working in a fast-past, dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate and work well with supervisors, colleagues, and individuals both inside and outside of the company
  • Ability to work independently under general supervision with considerable expectations for initiative and independent judgment
  • Flexibility related to new ideas and/or best practices from management and peers
  • Team player attitude; willing and able to adapt approach across a diverse employee base
