Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Mailing and filing of all payables.
Deposit and record all receivables
Monitor and review the daily merchant deposit file for risk
Establish merchant reserve accounts when necessary and release or add funds as needed to protect company from losses
Monitor chargebacks and retrievals
Track all aspects of Merchant Funding program including: initial underwriting, approval; daily accounting of payback; sending monthly statements.
Act as backup for all accounting functions performed by President including but not limited to: preparing checks; entering accounting transactions; preparing funding advances; etc.
Submit various monthly accounting reports on merchant losses; P&L; etc.
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
Accounting skills, specificly AP/AR
Excellent communication skills (phone and email communications)
Ability to multi-task
