Treatment Coordinator (Admin Assistant in OBGYN Department)

We are seeking a Treatment Coordinator to become a part of our OBGYN team! The Treatment Coordinator provides administrative support to the OB/GYN Department to ensure it is running smoothly and is in constant communication with OB/GYN patients and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate doctors' schedules and their timecards in various computer systems.
- Verify insurance eligibility, prior authorization and referrals.
- Organize and maintain patient records.
- Provide patients with clinical information as directed by OBGYN physicians.
- Assist clinical staff with the execution of Disability and FMLA Forms.
- Work collaboratively with physicians to implement appropriate healthcare programs
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in OBGYN department and healthcare or other medical fields
- Experience in managing administrative duties.
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes
