OCuSOFT® is an ophthalmic pharmaceutical and supplies company seeking the services of a personable, energetic, “can-do" individual capable of overnight travel for the position of Territory Sales Manager (TSM). Work weeks are Monday-Friday. TSM’s have complete responsibility for their territory including detailing to physicians and presentations to pharmaceutical buyers and administrators. Our business is relationship-driven so individuals should be comfortable in social interaction within the doctors’ offices. The Company develops and promotes innovative products that require technical presentations, so the preferred candidate will have good communication skills and be conscientious in their study habits in order to develop their product knowledge.

A further word on the activities of TSM’s: The Company’s business model centers on offering a wide range of products to the doctor and their offices. This “one-stop shopping" concept enables the TSM to use the vendor-customer relationship as a forum to promote proprietary products. TSM’s can be expected to detail select products to physicians, however, unlike Pharma companies where there is no direct selling, OCuSOFT® presents and negotiates with buyers and administrators to generate direct orders on the telephone as well as in the doctors’ offices and in surgical centers. Therefore, the ability to close and “ask for the order" is critical.


TSM’s have complete responsibility for their territory including detailing to physicians and presentations to pharmaceutical buyers and administrators. Our business is relationship-driven so that in addition to being personable, candidates should be comfortable in social situations outside the office.

OCuSOFT® is an expanding ophthalmic pharmaceutical and supplies company marketing a wide range of products that include pharmaceuticals and supplies, medical devices, over-the-counter eye care and skin care products. The Company commands a unique position among ophthalmic product suppliers insofar as the Company is also actively involved in research and product development. Historically, OCuSOFT® has utilized contract manufacturers for its products. However, recently the Company broke ground on a new manufacturing facility capable of manufacturing the Company’s flagship OTC eyelid cleansers along with the Zoria line of cosmetic products. This new facility will make the Company fully integrated and enhance its existing supply chain support systems. The Company offers a number of Rx products sold directly into doctors’ offices as well as over-the-counter (OTC) products which are detailed and sampled to doctors in-office or sold into the doctor’s office for retail to the patients. Patients will then either buy these OTC products from the doctor or go to traditional drug stores and pharmacy chains to purchase for their on-going needs. The Director of Retail Key Accounts will have national responsibility for all national chains in drug, grocery and mass merchandise. This would include CVS, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, Kroger and the like. The Company presently works with a national brokerage team that represents its products. The Company plans to continue working with brokers. However, instead of utilizing brokers exclusively, the Company will retain the services of an in-house Director who will work with the Company’s CEO, Cynthia Barratt, to develop a retail sales department capable of servicing these account internally.
