The Laboratory Analyst will collect, analyze, record and interpret chemical test results in support of the Quality Control Laboratory. They will perform a variety of tests to assist with product development and other special projects as required. They will determine the composition, reactions, and chemical or physical properties of organic and inorganic compounds. They will develop and improve processes, equipment and formulas, and prepare compounds and solutions to conduct tests.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- A bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a science-related field and/or 2-5 years of relevant work experience in a lab interpreting test result
- Good communications skills including written and verbal assignments
- Above average computer skills- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job.
