Why we need you:

We're looking for a Finance Consultant to lead our finance operations on a part-time basis (about 8-10 hours a week). This person will guide and mentor our current Finance Manager as well our Senior Leadership Team in profitable business decisions.

What you'll do:
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to guide the financial decisions of the business.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance for Finance Department.
  • Oversee and analyze month-end closing and financial statements.
  • Adhoc financial analytics including rate cards.
  • Protect our assets by monitoring and enforcing internal controls.
  • Oversee and audit monthly revenue as well as client invoicing, payroll, sales commissions, benefits, taxes, and 401k retirement plan.
  • Oversee cash flow and billing schedules. Advise finance department on best practices.
  • Maintain company capitalization table.
  • R&D Research tax credits (if applicable).
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you need to be successful:
  • 10 to 15+ years of experience managing the finances of small to midsize companies.
  • Experience working in project based professional services, ideally digital marketing.
  • A degree in accounting or business preferred.
  • Experience with small to medium sized company mergers and/or acquisitions would be a plus.
  • Experience working with Quickbooks Enterprise Solutions is preferred.
