Purchasing & Inside Sales Associate - Car Wash Service Company

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a Purchasing & Inside Sales Associate to join our dynamic team at a leading car wash service company based in Portland, Oregon.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the purchasing team to source and procure supplies, equipment, and services necessary for the smooth operation of our car wash facilities.

• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods.

• Identify new suppliers, conduct market research, and evaluate potential vendors for quality, price, and reliability.

• Handle sales inquiries from customers, provide product information, and offer tailored solutions to meet their needs.

• Process sales orders, track inventory levels, and coordinate with the operations team to ensure sufficient stock availability.

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, sales, and inventory data using our internal systems.

• Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' offerings to make informed purchasing and sales decisions.

• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and customer loyalty.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.

• Proven experience in purchasing, inside sales, or a similar role, preferably in the Car Wash or Petroleum Service industry.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.

• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and prices with vendors.

• Proficiency in using computer software and systems for inventory management and sales order processing.

• Ability to work independently and in a team, with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Knowledge of the car wash industry and related products is a plus.

• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
