What’s the job again?
The Client Advocate, reporting to the Client Experience Manager, is the “face” of NuWave to our clients -- an effective relationship builder.
Prepare strategies, build budgets, and meet with business stakeholders to provide cutting edge recommendations that help their businesses.
Lead structured meetings using the NuWave processes – but allowing room for discussions and having empathy for business situations.
Meet daily with the Client Experience team to keep track of the multitude of different technologies that our clients use.
Review our best practices and standards to help clients work towards a fully standardized – Simple, Secure, and Reliable technology stack.
Provide a “demystified” consultative approach to technology strategy that puts our client’s concerns at ease – our clients don’t worry when we tell that we’ve got it handled. This is where your scheduling and attention to detail techniques will come in handy.
There will be the usual weekly meeting type stuff, but we do it different with our EOS Level 10’s!
You’ll need the following skills to be successful here: Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, good written and oral communication skills, communicate often and effectively with our Design, Service, Project, and finance teams. As the conduit between NuWave and our clients, the ability to learn complex systems and break it down for decision-makers at our clients is key. You will track ToDos in ticket tracking software, deliver quotes, send and receive email, talk on the phone, and provide business insights based on your technical background. You’ll also build strategies and budgets collaboratively with our clients. Some organizations refer to this position as a Virtual CIO – but we think Client Advocate is a much better title!
A few of these technical trainings are useful in bridging the gap between technology and business: CCDA/CCNA, MCSE, CISSP, ITIL, Project Management, CISM/CISA
