Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Supervisor is a key role with a strong background in data retrieval and analytics to support growth of all e-commerce accounts. The Inventory Control Supervisor has a strong eye for detail, can provide quick and strategic solutions, ability to execute large scale plans, adapt to sudden changes, manage difficult and complex challenges, and work collaboratively with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and prioritize daily activities of IC team (IC specialist and Cycle Counters) including required reporting, tasks, cycle counting, mystery research and resolution and projects
- Ensure all daily/weekly/monthly reporting and tasks are completed and accurate
- Ensure monthly and quarterly audited cycle counts are completed
- Train, motivate and elevate new IC team members
- Guide performance management through goal setting, performance reviews, and adherence to attendance and safety policies
- Develop product familiarity and identification
- Become a research expert utilizing various systems to resolve inventory discrepancies and review and authorize inventory adjustments and reconciliation
- Identify areas of opportunity to improve operational processes through report and root cause analysis
- Develop relationships to communicate process improvements and best practices
- Propose and implement inventory management strategy

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience with inventory management
- BS in related discipline and at least 1-3 years’ experience
- Excited to be in an ambiguous environment with the ability to make decisions without relying on upper management
- Experience with high-touch Ecommerce operations
- Excellent communication skills as this is a highly communicative team
