FUNCTION:
Acts as support staff to the Executive Casino Hosts, Hotel, and Casino Marketing department overall, providing excellent guest service and administrative capabilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Fields all VIP Services incoming calls; sorts and distributes mail.
2.Responsible for data input for guests redeeming Casino Marketing mail offers and invitations.
3.Responsible for booking casino guest hotel room reservations, show tickets, transportation, restaurant reservations, and room service amenities as requested by the casino hosts or by specific offer or invitation instructions.
4.Provide excellent guest service to casino VIP guests who visit the VIP Services office for assistance.
5.Ability to check in and check out casino VIP hotel guests. Ability to apply comps to guest folio if applicable.
6.Issue comps using available comp points on players accounts.
7.Perform telemarketing as assigned.
8.Maintain department records, files, supplies and inventories of promotional brochures, pamphlets etc., distribute promotional material as directed.
9.Assists staff in conducting casino events, indoors and outdoors.
10.Establish and maintain effective channels of communication with all levels of the Nugget team and guests.
11.Using the Nuggets system of recognition, recognize team members who are going above and beyond as appropriate
12.Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state, and federal regulations.
13.Perform work in a safe manner and always maintain a safe environment for fellow team members and guests alike.
14.Immediately report unsafe conditions, team member or guest incidents to Security, Management, and the Safety Manager.
15.Maintain a positive and professional image for the Nugget when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourages others to do the same.
16.Regular predictable attendance is required.
17.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:VIP Services Supervisor
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 21 years of age.
EDUCATION LEVEL:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
LANGUAGE:
Effectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language.
EXPERIENCE:
Previous customer service experience required. Previous hotel or casino marketing experience preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Advanced skills with Microsoft office including, Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Valid Nevada drivers license and clean 3 DMV driving record required.
Employee Gaming registration required.
Alcohol Awareness Certification within the first 30 days required.
PHSYICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, and move product up to 50 lbs.
Fine finger manipulation.
Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels.
Work may be performed indoors and outdoors during special events.
