Job Description FUNCTION: Oversee and supervise the cleaning operation during an assigned shift. Ensure all activities and duties are being performed in accordance with established company and departmental procedures, policies and goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Directly responsible for all duties of the cleaning staff on assigned shift.
2.Monitors and improves employee productivity and job skills through training, coaching and counseling. Performs quality control inspections on completed work. 3.Responds to field calls and emergencies resolving problem areas that may include Bio Hazard material.
4.Evaluates employees work performance and prepares scheduled appraisals. 5.Strives for opportunities and methods to improve the departments performance through planning, and analysis and encourages ideas from employees to enhance productivity. 6.Advises the cleaning Manager of all pertinent information regarding activities within the operation and any irregularities.
7.Be knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state and federal regulations. 8.Performs work in a safe manner and always maintains a safe environment for fellow employees and guests alike. 9.Immediately reports unsafe conditions and employee or guest accidents to a supervisor or Security.
10.Maintains a positive and professional image for the Nugget at all times when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourages others to do the same. 11.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 12.Address guest concerns and or complaints in a timely and professional manner 13.Regular predictable attendance is required.
14.Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state and federal regulations. 15.Communicate effectively with all levels of the Nugget team and guests. 16.Perform work in a safe manner and maintain a safe environment for team member and guests.
17.Immediately report unsafe conditions and team member or guest incidents to a member of the management team or Security. 18.Maintain a positive and professional image when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourage others to do the same. 19.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Janitorial Manager MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION LEVEL: High School diploma or equivalent is required. LANGUAGE: Effectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language. EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of Janitorial Supervisory experience required.
