Security Practice Manager – NuWave Technology Partners

Work Locations: Greater Grand Rapids

A Security Practice Manager directs internal and external security for corporate and client experience while coordinating with security vendors and clients to ensure security and compliance for various marketplaces.

What will I be doing?

As a Security Practice Manager, you are responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of internal security activities, coordinating and leading incident response planning for internal and external clients, and developing a marketing strategy for security and compliance initiatives. A Security Practice Manager will also be required to keep up to date on security and compliance frameworks, updates, trends, and marketplace change within the security industry. This role requires the director to create a culture of security, offer security awareness curriculum, and guiding executive level leaders in current regulatory requirements and security trends. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

· Establish, implement and continuous improvement of Security & Compliance policies, standards and procedures.

· Manage Security & Risk Management Frameworks (data classification, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework, Risk Management Framework, Incident Response Planning and Leadership contingency planning, Disaster Recovery, and Critical systems) with Corporate IT.

· Engage clients as a trusted advisor by identifying security challenges and requirements for clients which turn into opportunities for NuWave and partner solutions.

· Create, manage, develop long-term goals, budget and operating plan with executive leadership buy-in for security and compliance program.

· Manage Incident Response Planning, the Incident Response Team (IRT), Security Triage and internal teams and resources for incident client engagement.

· Monitor, assess, and identify industry/technology competitive marketplace, while leveraging existing partnership capabilities.

· Review current NuWave security offerings, develop a security sales strategy, provide presales support and identify new products, vendors and partners.

· Demonstrate thought security leadership, attract, and grow NuWave's market reputation in security for SMB and enterprise-level (C-Suite).

· Present and articulate NuWave security value proposition (to SMB market) on both a technical and business level.

· Develop, implement, train corporate employees on security awareness (SA) training roadmap, as well as, develop SA Training roadmap into a Security product Liaise with Departmental Heads to ensure staff is aware of their security responsibilities

· Plan, deliver and facilitate regular staff awareness training

· Be fully conversant with Emergency procedures

· Responsible for management of key control within all departments

· Direct and coordinate the activities of all security personnel, engage in the implementation of safety and security procedures for the department, and aid and advise to other departments in relation to security

· Prepare incident reports

· Liaise with Departmental Heads to ensure staff is aware of their security responsibilities

· Plan, deliver and facilitate regular staff awareness training

· Be fully conversant of company terrorist procedures and convey to staff

· Be fully conversant with Disaster Recovery procedures

· Responsible for management of key control within all departments

· Previous experience in same or similar role

· IT proficiency

· IT Security Certifications (e.g. CISM, CISSP, Security+, etc.)
