Associate Director, Revenue Operations

Working at the general guidance of the Vice President of Revenue Operations, the Associate Director of Revenue Operations will lead the Clinical appeals, Relationship Coordinators and Operations support teams in their efforts to secure reimbursement and also to relay to internal and external customers how Novocure's products are reimbursed. The Associate Director of Revenue Operations will also lead the Accounts Receivable and Reimbursement by working with the Revenue Cycle manager and the Sr. Billing Manager to develop processes and system emphasizing innovation and automation across the revenue cycle including accounts receivable management, claim production and submission, payment applications and data management.

This is an exempt position reporting to the Vice President of Global Revenue Operations and is based in Portsmouth NH.


Lead the Reimbursement and Clinical appeals teams to support prescribers and patients

Develop materials and processes necessary to support the team's efforts to secure payment for patient's treatment

Support corporate leadership in development/evolution of reimbursement strategies

Lead Revenue Cycle activities

Lead the efforts to monitor AR reports, monitoring trends and provide support date for the Rev Rec process

Develop a work process for Reimbursement and Accounts Receivable to work more efficiently towards collecting accrued revenue

Support the US Controller group with the monthly financial close process

Ensure department compliance with Medicare, accreditation, SOX and internal audit policies

Employ strong project management skills by prioritizing and leading multiple tasks concurrently

Educational Prerequisites:

College degree or 5 years of healthcare reimbursement required.

Background in finances prefered

Working knowledge of legal and regulatory environment, with corresponding Guidelines (ACCME, AdvaMED, FDA, etc)

Required Skills / Experience:

Demonstrated excellence in meeting and exceeding customer expectations especially in difficult situations.

Ability to effectively lead cross functional teams

Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of customer relations, product promotion and be able to interpret complex information.

Ability to work independently and perform timely follow up.

Competent in all Microsoft Office products.

Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred Skills / Experience:

Previous experience in contract reimbursement

Broad knowledge of Medicare, managed care, third party payers and Medicaid is preferred.

Knowledge of Protected Health Information and The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) Privacy and Security guidelines.
