Oversees and responsible for CVO credentialing training, compliance, and auditing. Provides training and education to team members, medical staff professionals, and others to include departmental orientations, retraining and re-education needs as needed. Ensures that regulatory compliance guidelines for state, federal, TJC, NCQA, AAAHC, bylaws, and other respective governing bodies are met.
+ Education: Associate's Degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
+ Experience: Three years' experience in a role that performs or supports provider credentialing or payer enrollment in a hospital, managed care plan, or physician practice required.
+ Licensure / Certification / Registration: Current NAMSS CPCS and/or CPMSM certification. Must be capable of obtaining one of these certifications within three years of hire preferred.
+ Additional Skills/Requirements required: Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to problem-solve, make decisions, and implement same with minimal supervision. Ability to prioritize and professionally manage workload. Knowledge of TJC, AAAHC, and NCQA standards.
+ Additional Skills/Requirements preferred: Experience with Echo credentialing database.
